HOW IT WORKS

Once the Membership Form is fully completed, please return it to the Club for approval.  The two Sponsors referring the new member must personally know the applicant and have been members of the club for at least 12 months.

The joining fee and annual fee must be paid in full upon lodgement of the Membership Form. If joining with a spouse or partner, the joining fee applies only to the General or Pensioner Member — the Associate Member (spouse or partner) is exempt from the joining fee.

The joining fee is also waived in the following circumstances:

  • A parent of the applicant has been a member of Casa D'Abruzzo Club for more than ten consecutive years

  • The applicant is a child of a Foundation Member, in respect and honour of all past and present Foundation Members

The form is reviewed by the committee and the applicant is notified by post of the outcome. If approved, they will receive a Membership Card and welcome letter.

Memberships run per calendar year from 1 January to 31 December.  Members may renew during a three-month grace period from January to end of March every year.  If renewal is not completed by 31 March, member entitlements will be suspended. Payment can be made in the office or over the phone during business hours, Monday to Friday, 10:00am to 5:00pm.
