MEMBER BENEFITS

INFORMATION

Once the Membership Form is fully completed please return it to the Club for approval.  The two Sponsors referring the new member must personally know the new applicant and have been members of the club for at least 12 months.

If a person joins with a spouse or partner, the joining fee applies only to the General Member or Pensioner Member, the partner or spouse (Associate Member) does not pay a joining fee.  Joining fee and the annual fee must be paid in full with the lodgement of the Membership Form.

The joining fee is waived if a parent of the new applicant has been a member of the Casa D’Abruzzo Club for over ten subsequent years.  In respect and honour of all our past and present Foundation Members, children of Foundation Members also have the benefit of having the joining fee waived.

The form is then reviewed by the committee and approved or denied.  The applicant is then advised via the post if the application is denied or approved.  If approved they will receive a Membership Card and welcome letter.

Memberships are valid per calendar year, from 1 January to 31 December.  Members can renew their membership during a three month grace period from January to end of March every year.  If a member does not renew their subscription by end of March, entitlements will be suspended. Payment can be made during business hours only Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm in the office.

ENTITLEMENTS

Members are very valued at Casa D’Abruzzo Club and the Club has a variety of ways in which Members can receive benefits and discounts.

Benefits are as follows:

·        10% discount off total bill in the Bistro and Café only

·        Birthday Voucher of $30 issued to Members on the day of their birthday to be used in the Bistro with an expiry date of 3 months from issue

·        Discount on tickets for special social events for example: Club Anniversary Gala Night, Easter Lunch, Christmas Lunch, New Year’s Eve Dinner Dance, Abruzzese Night etc.

·        In October every year Members can attend the Annual General Meeting.  The Club’s financial details of the previous year and upcoming plans are presented whilst members enjoy a complimentary supper and beverages

·        Every three months a social calendar is mailed out with all upcoming events

·        Children’s Christmas Party is held every December, children and grandchildren of Members receive a gift from Santa Clause

·        A complimentary three course Christmas Dinner with standard drinks included, accompanied by live music

·        Members can frequent the Members Room every Friday night to socialise, play cards, tombola or billiards

·        After 6 months of full membership room hire is waived for usage of Function Rooms if the Member is personally celebrating an event

·        Points program associated with expenditure on the card.  Points can be redeemed for meals, drinks and kiosk items
